1	摩西曉諭以色列各支派的首領說：「耶和華所吩咐的乃是這樣：
			And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
		2	人若向耶和華許願或起誓，要約束自己，就不可食言，必要按口中所出的一切話行。
			If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
		3	女子年幼、還在父家的時候，若向耶和華許願，要約束自己，
			If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, in her father's house in her youth;
		4	他父親也聽見他所許的願並約束自己的話，卻向他默默不言，他所許的願並約束自己的話就都要為定。
			And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
		5	但他父親聽見的日子若不應承他所許的願和約束自己的話，就都不得為定；耶和華也必赦免他，因為他父親不應承。
			But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
		6	他若出了嫁，有願在身，或是口中出了約束自己的冒失話，
			And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
		7	他丈夫聽見的日子，卻向他默默不言，他所許的願並約束自己的話就都要為定。
			And her husband heard and held his peace at her in the day that he heard : then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
		8	但他丈夫聽見的日子，若不應承，就算廢了他所許的願和他出口約束自己的冒失話；耶和華也必赦免他。
			But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard ; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
		9	寡婦或是被休的婦人所許的願，就是他約束自己的話，都要為定。
			But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
		10	他若在丈夫家裡許了願或起了誓，約束自己，
			And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
		11	丈夫聽見，卻向他默默不言，也沒有不應承，他所許的願並約束自己的話就都要為定。
			And her husband heard , and held his peace at her, disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
		12	丈夫聽見的日子，若把這兩樣全廢了，婦人口中所許的願或是約束自己的話就都不得為定，因他丈夫已經把這兩樣廢了；耶和華也必赦免他。
			But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
		13	凡他所許的願和刻苦約束自己所起的誓，他丈夫可以堅定，也可以廢去。
			Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
		14	倘若他丈夫天天向他默默不言，就算是堅定他所許的願和約束自己的話；因丈夫聽見的日子向他默默不言，就使這兩樣堅定。
			But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard .
		15	但他丈夫聽見以後，若使這兩樣全廢了，就要擔當婦人的罪孽。」
			But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard ; then he shall bear her iniquity.
		16	這是丈夫待妻子，父親待女兒，女兒年幼、還在父家，耶和華所吩咐摩西的律例。
			These the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, in her youth in her father's house.
