1	論摩押的默示：一夜之間，摩押的亞珥變為荒廢，歸於無有；一夜之間，摩押的基珥變為荒廢，歸於無有。
			The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, brought to silence;
		2	他們上巴益，又往底本，到高處去哭泣。摩押人因尼波和米底巴哀號，各人頭上光禿，鬍鬚剃淨。
			He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads baldness, every beard cut off.
		3	他們在街市上都腰束麻布，在房頂上和寬闊處俱各哀號，眼淚汪汪。
			In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall howl, weeping abundantly.
		4	希實本和以利亞利悲哀的聲音達到雅雜，所以摩押帶兵器的高聲喊嚷，人心戰兢。
			And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.
		5	我心為摩押悲哀；他的貴冑（或作：逃民）逃到瑣珥，到伊基拉施利施亞。他們上魯希坡，隨走隨哭；在何羅念的路上，因毀滅舉起哀聲。
			My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.
		6	因為寧林的水成為乾涸，青草枯乾，嫩草滅沒，青綠之物，一無所有。
			For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.
		7	因此，摩押人所得的財物和所積蓄的都要運過柳樹河。
			Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
		8	哀聲遍聞摩押的四境；哀號的聲音達到以基蓮；哀號的聲音達到比珥以琳。
			For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim.
		9	底們的水充滿了血；我還要加增底們的災難，叫獅子來追上摩押逃脫的民和那地上所餘剩的人。
			For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.
