Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? |

有人挪移地界,搶奪群畜而牧養。 |

# Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed . |

他們拉去孤兒的驢,強取寡婦的牛為當頭。 |

They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge. |

|
他們使窮人離開正道;世上的貧民盡都隱藏。 |
|
|
|
They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together. |
|
|
5
|
這些貧窮人如同野驢出到曠野,殷勤尋找食物;他們靠著野地給兒女糊口, |
|
|
|
Behold, wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness food for them for children. |
|
|

|
收割別人田間的禾稼,摘取惡人餘剩的葡萄, |
|
|
|
They reap his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked. |
|
|

|
終夜赤身無衣,天氣寒冷毫無遮蓋, |
|
|
|
They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that no covering in the cold. |
|
|
8
|
在山上被大雨淋濕,因沒有避身之處就挨近磐石。 |
|
|
|
They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter. |
|
|
9
|
又有人從母懷中搶奪孤兒,強取窮人的衣服為當頭, |
|
|
|
They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor. |
|
|

|
使人赤身無衣,到處流行,且因飢餓扛抬禾捆, |
|
|
|
They cause to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf the hungry; |
|
|
11
|
在那些人的圍牆內造油,醡酒,自己還口渴。 |
|
|
|
# Which make oil within their walls, tread winepresses, and suffer thirst. |
|
|
12
|
在多民的城內有人唉哼,受傷的人哀號;神卻不理會那惡人的愚妄。 |
|
|
|
Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly . |
|
|
13
|
又有人背棄光明,不認識光明的道,不住在光明的路上。 |
|
|
|
They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof. |
|
|
14
|
殺人的黎明起來,殺害困苦窮乏人,夜間又作盜賊。 |
|
|
|
The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief. |
|
|
15
|
姦夫等候黃昏,說:必無眼能見我,就把臉蒙蔽。 |
|
|
|
The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth face. |
|
|
16
|
盜賊黑夜挖窟窿;白日躲藏,並不認識光明。 |
|
|
|
In the dark they dig through houses, they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light. |
|
|
17
|
他們看早晨如幽暗,因為他們曉得幽暗的驚駭。 |
|
|
|
For the morning to them even as the shadow of death: if know the terrors of the shadow of death. |
|
|
18
|
這些惡人猶如浮萍快快飄去。他們所得的分在世上被咒詛;他們不得再走葡萄園的路。 |
|
|
|
He swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards. |
|
|
19
|
乾旱炎熱消沒雪水;陰間也如此消沒犯罪之輩。 |
|
|
|
Drought and heat consume the snow waters: the grave have sinned. |
|
|
20
|
懷他的母(原文作胎)要忘記他;蟲子要吃他,覺得甘甜;他不再被人記念。不義的人必如樹折斷。 |
|
|
|
The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree. |

他惡待(或作:他吞滅)不懷孕不生養的婦人,不善待寡婦。 |

|
|
He evil entreateth the barren beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow. |
|

|
然而神用能力保全有勢力的人;那性命難保的人仍然興起。 |
|
|
|
He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no is sure of life. |
|
|

|
神使他們安穩,他們就有所倚靠;神的眼目也看顧他們的道路。 |
|
|
|
Though it be given him in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes upon their ways. |
|
|

|
他們被高舉,不過片時就沒有了;他們降為卑,被除滅,與眾人一樣,又如穀穗被割。 |

|
|
They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all , and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn. |

|
若不是這樣,誰能證實我是說謊的,將我的言語駁為虛空呢? |

|
|
And if not now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth? |
