1	猶大眾民立亞瑪謝的兒子烏西雅（又名亞撒利雅）接續他父作王，那時他年十六歲。
			Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.
		2	（亞瑪謝與他列祖同睡之後，烏西雅收回以祿仍歸猶大，又重新修理。）
			He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.
		3	烏西雅登基的時候年十六歲，在耶路撒冷作王五十二年。他母親名叫耶可利雅，是耶路撒冷人。
			Sixteen years old Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
		4	烏西雅行耶和華眼中看為正的事，效法他父亞瑪謝一切所行的；
			And he did right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
		5	通曉神默示，撒迦利亞在世的時候，烏西雅定意尋求神；他尋求耶和華，神就使他亨通。
			And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
		6	他出去攻擊非利士人，拆毀了迦特城、雅比尼城，和亞實突城；在非利士人中，在亞實突境內，又建築了些城。
			And he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines.
		7	神幫助他攻擊非利士人和住在姑珥巴力的亞拉伯人，並米烏尼人。
			And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims.
		8	亞捫人給烏西雅進貢。他的名聲傳到埃及，因他甚是強盛。
			And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened # himself exceedingly.
		9	烏西雅在耶路撒冷的角門和谷門，並城牆轉彎之處，建築城樓，且甚堅固；
			Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning , and fortified them.
		10	又在曠野與高原和平原，建築望樓，挖了許多井，因他的牲畜甚多；又在山地和佳美之地，有農夫和修理葡萄園的人，因為他喜悅農事。
			Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen , and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.
		11	烏西雅又有軍兵，照書記耶利和官長瑪西雅所數點的，在王的一個將軍哈拿尼雅手下，分隊出戰。
			Moreover Uzziah had an host of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, of the king's captains.
		12	族長、大能勇士的總數共有二千六百人，
			The whole number of the chief of the fathers of the mighty men of valour two thousand and six hundred.
		13	他們手下的軍兵共有三十萬七千五百人，都有大能，善於爭戰，幫助王攻擊仇敵。
			And under their hand an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.
		14	烏西雅為全軍預備盾牌、槍、盔、甲、弓，和甩石的機弦，
			And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings stones.
		15	又在耶路撒冷使巧匠做機器，安在城樓和角樓上，用以射箭發石。烏西雅的名聲傳到遠方；因為他得了非常的幫助，甚是強盛。
			And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.
		16	他既強盛，就心高氣傲，以致行事邪僻，干犯耶和華他的神，進耶和華的殿，要在香壇上燒香。
			But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.
		17	祭司亞撒利雅率領耶和華勇敢的祭司八十人，跟隨他進去。
			And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, valiant men:
		18	他們就阻擋烏西雅王，對他說：「烏西雅啊，給耶和華燒香不是你的事，乃是亞倫子孫承接聖職祭司的事。你出聖殿吧！因為你犯了罪。你行這事，耶和華 神必不使你得榮耀。」
			And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither for thine honour from the LORD God.
		19	烏西雅就發怒，手拿香爐要燒香。他向祭司發怒的時候，在耶和華殿中香壇旁眾祭司面前，額上忽然發出大痲瘋。
			Then Uzziah was wroth, and a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.
		20	大祭司亞撒利雅和眾祭司觀看，見他額上發出大痲瘋，就催他出殿；他自己也急速出去，因為耶和華降災與他。
			And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.
		21	烏西雅王長大痲瘋直到死日，因此住在別的宮裡，與耶和華的殿隔絕。他兒子約坦管理家事，治理國民。
			And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son over the king's house, judging the people of the land.
		22	烏西雅其餘的事，自始至終都是亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞所記的。
			Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.
		23	烏西雅與他列祖同睡，葬在王陵的田間他列祖的墳地裡；因為人說，他是長大痲瘋的。他兒子約坦接續他作王。
			So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which to the kings; for they said, He a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
